Xuewen (Snow) Luo

I am a Ph.D. student in Transportation Engineering at the University of Utah (since Fall 2025). Before that, I received my Master of Artificial Intelligence (High Distinction) from Monash University and my Bachelor of Logistics Management from Yunnan University.

My research explores how to harness foundation models for autonomous driving and robotics, bridging large-scale pretrained knowledge with real-world embodied decision-making.

Current Interest

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how to evaluate driving behavior — what makes a trajectory safe, reasonable, and human-like, and how to measure it. I'm always happy to chat and collaborate with anyone interested in this topic — feel free to reach out!
